Guillermo—the Hollywood Boulevard parking lot security guard turned Jimmy Kimmel Live! sidekick, has a new credit to add to his atypical resume: Broadway performer. The mononymous entertainer flew to New York and headed straight to the New Amsterdam Theatre to appear in Aladdin for one night only as a market cart owner. After some warmups and rehearsals with Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart, Adam Jacobs, Courtney Reed and associate director Scott Taylor, Guillermo was ready to get into costume and savor his time in the spotlight. And for someone who had never even seen—let alone acted in—a play or musical, he did pretty well! Though he could maybe cheat out a bit more next time.
